FAQS

What is Medical Weight Loss at Huemn?

Our Medical Weight Loss program utilizes either Semaglutide (the key ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy) or Tirzepatide (the key ingredient in Mounjaro and Zepbound) to help you lose weight. In addition to weekly injections, our program includes the support of our medical team and experienced staff.

How do these medications work?

These medications belong to a class of medication called GLP-1 or GIP agonists. Both medications help to increase feelings of satiety (fullness), decrease unwanted food noise, and help improve blood sugar.

Who is a candidate for your program?

Virtually anyone who has weight to lose and fits the BMI requirements can be a candidate for this program. We do require all prospective participants to go through our Medical Intake process, which includes a quick health history screening and evaluation from our Nurse Practitioner. This process takes just a few minutes, and can be done in the comfort of your own home.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the program depends on the medication that you are prescribed and the dosage. As a member of our Remote Program, you have the option of paying monthly (smaller vials, more frequent shipments) or purchasing the entire vial of medication (greater value, higher upfront cost). We will walk you through all of your options once you are approved for the program. For reference and transparency sake, the average cost of Semaglutide is roughly $379/month, and the cost of Tirzepatide is roughly $479/month.
